Donna and George are this really cool couple I know. I was thrilled when they told me they were engaged and they asked me to photograph their wedding. They got married Thanksgiving weekend at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and celebrated at the Coral Gables Women's Club well into the night. It was a lovely wedding on a beautiful South Florida evening and it is safe to say that everyone had a wonderful time.
On the morning of the big day, George surprised Donna with their engagement announcement published in the Miami Herald.
here it is:
The announcement was not the only surprise George had for Donna...check out her beautiful wedding gift.
Donna and her mom sharing one, of many, heartfelt moments that day Wow! Look at those eyelashes! Katherine did an amazing job on Donna's make-up.
A very handsome groom...
Donna and George, thank you for inviting me into your lives to capture your magical wedding day for you.

Cristy + Kurt - I Do
On Saturday, I shot an absolutely beautiful wedding for Cristy and Kurt in Palm Beach. It has been great working with this couple, so it was fun to see it all come together on the wedding day. The wedding was coordinated by none other than the super-talented Danielle of Creative Touch Party Design, so I knew that it would be a flawless, stylish affair. I was not disappointed. The details were exquisite. From the moment I entered her bridal suite, Cristy could not stop smiling. The camera just loved her. When she walked down the aisle, you could see the joy on Kurt's face. They danced the night away and had a little left in them at the end of the night for more photos. It was a magical wedding day!
Bride in the tub? Cristy loved the idea almost as much as I did!
The Harriet Theatre looked amazing!

real life kids
You know the old saying "life is what happens when you are busy making plans", well I think there is a similar truth to photography. Real life images are what you get when you are busy taking portaits. I was busy photographing the wonderful Steinhour family. Parker was busy running around, not listening to his mom and simply being 2. The possibility of a traditional "smile at the camera holiday portrait" did not look very promising. But in the meantime, I think we captured some fabulous images that really tell the story of the children in this family.

Of course, there was one traditional image for mom...will it be holiday card material?

The Lucey Family
During their vacation at The Breakers in Palm Beach, I had the pleasure of working with the lovely Lucey family. They flew into town from all over the country for a relaxing family weekend. It was so nice to capture them all together in a relaxed, casual setting, especially since they are usually scattered all over the country. Everyone was wonderful to work with, but, of course, the little ones stole the show.

Baby Stella
Last week I photographed little Stella at only 10 days old. It's easy to forget how simple the life if a newborn is. Stella was wonderful and we definitely wore her out with a photo shoot covering every corner of their beautiful home and garden. Dad was beaming with joy and Mom looked quite beautiful and pulled together for just having a baby.
