gallery walls - from vision to inspiration to installation

I had so much fun photographing the Parada family! We shot at a favorite location of mine...the historic Deering Estate. It was a gorgeous spring day...

Mom knew that she wanted to update her house with a family wall gallery, so I met with her at home and worked on a few designs. I customized something to suit her space. This one was the winning design:

After weeks of excitement and anticipation, I arrived at their house ready to put my handy woman skills to work (leveling and hammering is not easy work, but I like to make sure my clients galleries look just perfect!). I wish I look a before picture!

a name to celebrate - brit milah

When a Jewish baby boy turns eight days old, he officially becomes a member of the Jewish community and is given his name...well, that amongst other ceremonious rituals. It is such a special time for the family and friends to welcome him. This Bris was a wonderful celebration of the new little life that joined our community. Having watched his mommy grow to a lovely woman, and friend - witnessed his parents love under the Huppah - welcomed his big brother - it was a great honor and privilege to capture this beautiful ceremony for these dear friends of mine.
