Lindsay + Fernando - I do!

Lindsay and Fernando were married at the beautiful Eden Roc Hotel on Miami Beach. It was an intimate gathering of their closest friends and family. Lindsay was stunning and Fernando's face came alive every time he looked at her. Their chemistry is amazing! They were so much fun to work with and up for all my quirky ideas...

Thanks you two for being so wonderful to work with. It is an honor that you invited me into your lives and I look forward to growing with your new little family!

Rachel + Brian - I do!

Rachel and Brian tied the knot at The Gables Club on Sunday afternoon. It was a beautiful ceremony followed by and reception full of great food and loads of fun!

Rachel and Brian: Thank you for allowing me into your lives. I can't wait for more celebrations to capture for you both...

sisterly love

I have watched these beautiful twin girls grow up from babies. We always have so much fun on our "photo playdates". It was so much fun to watch these two play together this weekend. It is so sweet to see how much they love each other...which is every parent's dream!

Carina + Felipe - i do!

What a beautiful day! Carina and Felipe had a lovely traditional ceremony at St. Augustin Church. They then moved the celebration to the Gables' historic Globe Restaurant, a family gem. It was a fun night of great food, music and dancing.

Thanks to the fabulous Carlos Gastelbondo, for helping me out when my belly got in the way. Congratulations Carina and Felipe! It was great to be part of your beautiful night.

Michelle and Harlee

Meet Michelle...a belly to babies client. I have known Michelle since she was in high school. It is hard to believe that she is now pregnant with a child of her own. She is such a beautiful pregnant mama with a gorgeous motherly glow.

I photographed Michelle here at 34 weeks and it was a good thing we did it then. Little Miss Harlee could not wait to come out into the world and arrived six weeks early, soon after our shoot. At 1 month old, she had her first photo shoot. What a little angel!

Janine Stone Photography West

Once again, Janine Stone Photography (myself and my lovely and talented 6 and 8 year old assistants) will be moving out west for a month this summer. The Miami studio officially closes for business on July 15th. If you happen to find yourself in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, please do not hesitate to contact me to schedule your summer photo shoot. 2010...where have you gone!?!

This year started out with a bam, and not just from the sound of New Year's fireworks. I attended the annual PPA convention in Nashville, Tennessee and brought amazing ideas and energy back with me to Miami. Just as I was starting to put them into action, "BAM!". I found myself exhausted and unable to keep my eyes open, let alone implement any of those great ideas. Little did I know that there had been another plan in the works for me...the universe threw me for a big loop.

So here I am, six months pregnant, wondering where the time has gone. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year in June? So needless to say, I have a lot of catching up to do.
