It was a whirlwind weekend of Bat Mitzvah celebrations for the Berger Family. The festivities began on Thursday with a Challah making lesson and luncheon at The Greenfield Day School led by Rebbitzin Sima Becker. Sima taught Shayna and a few friends and family how to make Kosher Challahs. I happened to learn a thing or two as well.
We had a lovely family portrait session at Bet Shira Congregation. All the Bergers and Samoles were dressed in their best and ready for the weekend events.
After two Bat Mitzvah services and two festive meals, everyone still had a little left in them to party! The weekend concluded with a fabulous party at Lucky Strike in Miami Beach. Shayna's Sock Hop was an all out 50's celebration complete with poodle skirts, bobbie socks, bowling shirts and more. It was a great time for everyone there.

Sandra + Jon - I Do
Sandra and Jon were married right before the New Year at The Deering Estate in Miami. It was a perfect South Florida day for a wedding ceremony on the lawn of this gorgeous estate. Sandra was a stunning bride and Jon a handsome groom. I think they were relieved to finally say their I Do's. The evening was magical as they wined and dined and danced the night away under the stars.

Robin + Ron - I Do
After two years and a lifetime, Robin and Ron finally tied the knot. They had a traditional wedding ceremony at their synagogue, Temple Beth Torah in Wellington. It was a beautiful, intimate evening surrounded by love and family. A couple weeks later, they went all out with a dinner party celebration with friends and family at The Ritz Carlton Palm Beach.
Here are a few images from the ceremony:

Gigi and David - Yes!
From the moment I met Gigi and David, I knew that we were going to work wonderfully together. They are a great couple and a lot of fun. On their last visit down from New York, we had a great time exploring South Beach during their engagement photo shoot.
Thanks for a lovely afternoon. It was great to spend so much time together and really get to know you. I cannot wait until the big day at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa next month!

sweet baby Hailey
I met Wendy, Jon and Hailey at Matheson Hammock Beach for a tropical family photo shoot. We had a great time playing in the sand. Hailey was a doll, full of giggles and smiles for me. Her parents were pretty cool too!
Thanks for inviting me into your lives to capture these precious moments for your family.

Hershel's Hannukah Bash
A wonderful celebration by the Kravitz family. And how appropriate to throw a party to welcome Hershel into their lives on Hannukah, a celebration of miracles! It was a beautiful afternoon at the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center with friends and family and fun galore! Little Hershel happens to be a very loved little boy!
No Hannukah celebration is complete without dreidels and doughnuts...
Grandpa Steven was beaming with pride.
Not to mention the proud Daddies.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day, once again, and add these images to your new collection of memories.

growing families
Once again, it's always fun to watch my families grow. I met the Rousso's when little Riley was in her mommy's belly. Now, over a year later, Riley is definitely making her mark on her family. I thought that this image truly captured this fun moment in time for them and their great family dynamic. Not to mention, I love that sun flare!
